Favorite Albums By Year
Below is a changing list of my favorite album from each year. The goal of the list was to have only one pick for each year, but that was difficult… so there are a few years with honorable mentions (The favorite is in bold). Some years really had a toss up between two or three options, so I flipped a coin and the loser of the coin flip could be my favorite tomorrow. That’s the beauty of music, having taste and preference change, and finding new stuff. I think the list does a good job showing my musical tastes, but certainly doesn’t encapsulate it all. There are certain artists I love that are not on the list. This could be due to having their best songs spaced out through many albums or the fact that I listened to compilations instead of album by album. Some of those artists include Talking Heads, James Taylor, and Queen. Take a look and see if you have any similarities, and maybe you’ll even discover some new music you like! Lastly, I’ve made a playlist that includes 1 song from every album on this list.
